Description: BREAKING NEWS— AB2109, an alpha numerical confluence charged with controversy — a controversy that we have been following here on Spinal Column Radio. This is a bill that is traversing its way through the various hoops of the California Legislature — a bill that slaps the face of parents’ right to make a medical decision on behalf of their child. If enacted into law, parents wishing to opt their children out of the state’s mandatory vaccination schedule for public and private school attendance — which current law allows them to do — will now have to have a conversation with a medical doctor about the pro’s and con’s of such a decision… and then must obtain that doctor’s cosignature should they still wish to decline the procedure.
ChiropracTOR and Life College of Chiropractic West philosophy instructor Dr. Eric McKillican joins us on Spinal Column Radio to fill us in on the details that went on behind the doors of the June 27, 2012, California Senate Health Care Committee hearing on the bill.
