In its first year of operation some 43,000 visitors and would visit Palmer’s radio station atop the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  100,000 pieces of mail from listeners around the world would be received as well. Radio was a brand new technology for the public in 1922 and the idea of news of the day and entertainment traveling through the ether was enough pique curiosity. As such in 1925-26, Palmer published a WOC Tour Book.  That gave readers — whether they were physically present at the studio or not — a “personally guided tour.”  Enjoy our audio edition of this book.
